Table of Life is a family of churches where people belong in Jesus-centered community, believe in Jesus, and become apprentice-makers like Jesus for the life of the world.

A church is a family of believers of multiple generations led by Godly Elders, covenanted together to gather with the purpose of discipling one another towards Christ which includes the partaking of the ordinances, and being sent out on mission.

Table of Life is a Family of Churches: Church is a family, we could say Table of Life is a “church of churches” but this sounds better. We are a network of interconnected gatherings. We come together as a whole, in hubs, and in house churches to follow Jesus together.

A family of churches

For the Life of the World

Jesus gave up his life in order to bring life into the world. We exist to follow in these footsteps. Jesus’ ministry was made up of two parts: restoring brokenness brought on by sin, and preaching freedom from sin through his death and resurrection. These both are contained in preaching the kingdom of God. We engage in the same ministry both preaching freedom from sin and bringing about restoration in our communities through service, generosity, and justice under the kingship of Jesus.

If you want to get technical, we are a network of Missional Apprenticeship Communities

Missional

Proclaim the kingship of Jesus over all things by going to the lost (Matthew 28:19) and by being witnesses where God has placed us (Acts 1:8).

Apprenticeship

Apprenticing ourselves to Jesus in order to become like Jesus and do what Jesus did (Mark 8:34). With Jesus not physically present on earth, this happens by apprenticing ourselves to followers of Jesus and by making apprentices (2 Timothy 2:1-2).

Community

Both of these things take place in a deep, loving community where Jesus is King (Acts 2:42-47).
