A prayer for moms
O Hidden Father,
You see what no one else sees.
You reward what no one else praises.
You listen when no one else hears.
Thank You for mothers,
who do quiet work in quiet places—
changing diapers, wiping tears,
making meals, folding clothes,
teaching prayers, speaking truth.
They do not blow trumpets.
They do not seek applause.
They give because You gave.
They love because You loved.
Help every mother today
to remember that You are watching,
not with harsh eyes,
but with delight.
Remind them that their reward
is not in being noticed by people,
but in being known by You.
Give tired mothers rest.
Give sad mothers comfort.
Give joyful mothers songs of praise.
And give all mothers
the quiet peace of knowing
they are seen by You,
loved by You,
and held in Your hand.
Amen
